There is so much that goes into planning your wedding day and I am here to make one thing easier for you. Think about it, you rent the venue. Your dress you wear once. The flowers wilt and the cake will be eaten. The one thing that will immortalise all the effort you have gone through to plan the perfect day is your photographs. Photographs to remember the beautiful flower arrangements, all the nooks of your chosen venue and the joy of cutting that cake you’ve designed with your baker. Photographs you will frame, print and share for generations to come. They don’t stop time but it comes pretty damn close.
That is why it is so important you choose the right person for your day. Someone who aligns with your values and energy, someone who you feel comfortable with and held by. The “style” of a photographer is important but how well you get along beats that.

Hi, I’m Michaela!
I am based on the Northern Beaches in Sydney but spent first half of my life in Sweden. First and foremost I am a mother to my three daughters. We spend a lot of time exploring the Australian outdoors and choose to life a simple lifestyle by the water.
After my third baby I started my photography business in 2021 and within 3 months I was fully booked for the next six.
From maternity to births, newborns, families & weddings - I’ve done it all. And if you asked me to pick my favourite, I couldn’t. Because they all share one thing, and that is the love for another big enough to want to capture it. However, weddings usually being the start to the journey for couples, leaves it holding a pretty damn special place in my heart.
My heart has as much love for the sandy beaches and misty valleys of Australia as I have for beautiful summer nights in Sweden and picturesque nooks all over Europe.

My packages start from 4 hours and up. There are three pre made packages that will help with decision making, however, if you need a custom made package - let me know!

A 30% retainer is required to secure your date. Until this is paid, your date is up for grabs.
The retainer is there to cover all pre wedding day things such as Zoom calls, unlimited email and text support as well as to cover me should something happen and you need to cancel last minute. -
I don’t think I am different as most wedding photographers do what we do due to an insane passion for photography.
However, I am a very empathetic person and not much faces me when it comes to last minute changes, issues on the day or special requests from drunk aunties.
I want your day to be as special as you’ve planned it to be and am not afraid to help run the run sheet and help things move along as they should.
