Freshwater documentary family photography

Ever wondered what a documentary family photography session can look like? I am here to show you!

In this post you will get a peek into a Freshwater family of seven who wanted to keep play and fun as the focus of their photoshoot. Let kids be kids kinda shoot - which by the way are my favourites!

Cath did not want to pose on the beach for a few reasons. First of all, she has teenagers who are conscious of people watching them. Her second reason was simple; she has five kids and knew it would be a nightmare to get them all dressed and “behave” for beach portraits.

But the most important reason of all was that she wanted to capture what life looks like for them on a regular basis - being at home, kids skating on the driveway, jumping into the pool on a hot afternoon.

So that’s what we did!

I told them to get the skateboards and swimmers ready and I would meet them at their home and meet them as they are. We didn’t tell the kids to dress a certain way or look at the camera. Simply have fun!

With summer just beginning it is the best time to get your family booked in to capture your own unique summer memories, at home or at your favourite local outdoor location! You will never, ever regret it - as a mum of three I can promise you this x

You have the option of paying in instalments if this is helpful for your budget and your gallery is delivered to you within 2 weeks - there really is no reason not do to it!

Let’s play, feel free and make some real memories - together. Can’t wait to see you!

x Michaela
